Welcome to Chester Arts Fair 2015, returning for its fourth successive year from 20-22 November at Chester Racecourse. Visitors can view and buy art from a high calibre of World renowned Art Galleries showcasing work by emerging and established artists. The Fair will host over 40 galleries and is expected to welcome over 5,000 art enthusiasts and collectors.
The region has a prosperous art scene as well as an established collector base. It is a dynamic cultural destination with a reputation for presenting the very best in visual art through its public institutions, private collections, and leading commercial galleries.
Chester Arts Fair aims to bring art to life with a series of talks and presentations from artists, as well as commissions and film projects many of which are interactive or performative and encourage you to engage with Art and Artists directly. The fair will present collections of visual art, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics, Glass work and much more.
Internationally recognised Artist, Anne Sudworth will be presenting a talk and slideshow about her work on Saturday and Sunday at the Fair. Best known for her beautiful, illuminated trees and haunting, moonlit landscapes, Anne will be describing why she creates her art as well as explaining the meanings behind it.
