In 2013, Chester Arts Fair was proud to announce the Art in Education Programme, whereby the Fair involved local schools from the Cheshire area to showcase a selection of their most talented students’ work.
There were several awards covering different Key stages for work that was particularly outstanding, judged by an independent panel of Art Experts.
Returning once again for Chester Arts Fair 2017, the fair will showcase work from regional schools. A highlight of the fair, the competition allows students to experience the commercial side of a career in art and be part of a prestigious art event in their own city. The competition last year was sponsored by Aaron & Partners and supported by the Chester Decorative Fine Art Society, member society of NADFAS, who donated a number of prizes for the winners including a workshop presented by Juliet Staines for the schools of the winning students. If you are interested in sponsoring the competition for 2017 or would be interested in getting involved in other ways, please email your inquiry to email@example.com.
