Rosemary Meza-DesPlas explored the evolution of drawing with unique materials: hair live at this years art fair. She is known for exploring gender, sexuality and identity issues through hand-sewn human hair drawings, watercolours and on-site drawing installations. Rosemary’s decision to collect and sort hair to utilise as a vehicle for making art is informed by socio-cultural symbolism, feminism, body image and religious symbolism.
