I am constantly fascinated by the limitless interaction between colours and intrigued by the limitless variety of designs using only coloured triangles.
With the exception of my abstract work, most of my digital artworks originate from my own original photographs.
I use these as a reference and inspiration when painstakingly hand-drawing each triangular shape to realise depth. I also meticulously select the tones and hues of colour I need to achieve the effect of the image to pop-out from the paper.
As an example, these images of Vondelpark, Amsterdam, show the original photograph and the final result.
A number alongside each work’s title denotes the number of triangles in the image.
