The Dutch Fine Art Photographer Léon Leijdekkers (Zierikzee, The Netherlands 1962) is known for his monochrome land and seascapes. The atmosphere in his images, created through his use of long exposure technique, forms a testimony of his emotional relationship with the landscape and especially the sea. The absence of humans strengthens the feeling of solitude even more and introduces the beholder to a world where timeless contemplation prevails.
During his lifelong journey into photography, Léon still explores different photographic techniques and subject-matter. His land and seascape images are on display in exhibitions all over Europe.
