I have always been interested in art since I was a child. In 2010, I embraced oil paintings and was taught by Sonny Williams for a number of years. I do various artwork using oils, sunsets/rise, landscapes, seascapes, as well as some portrait and abstraction.
I bring new ideas which I capture from taking photographs and paint them on canvas in both realistic and abstract.
My inspiration came from 3 artists, Ivan Aivazovsky, his style of stormy clouds and seas, dark colours with a break of light shines the sea. JMW Turner is another artist I like because of his use of rich colours and light and that is why I paint sunset and sea. Another favourite artist I admire is Nial Adams – Big Norfolk Skies, his work is similar to Turner.
