I have been working as a professional artist since 1987. My work was previously exhibited in my own dedicated galleries in Guildford, Surrey, England (1987-2012) and Kings Road, Chelsea, England (2000-2005). In 2012 I decided to spend more time dealing with clients individually rather than in a retail gallery environment. I supplied galleries throughout the UK and the US (1990-2010) and exhibited at art fairs; London (Design Centre), Manchester, Dublin, Newcastle and the Affordable Art Fair, as well as the New York Art Expo. My work has been purchased by many individuals, companies and institutions including Tag Airport (Farnborough), Manchester United and HSBC.
I was seen as a child prodigy in my early years always seen as the creative child asked to make or paint everything in school. I made my own way making paints from anything, crushing chalk to make white powder paint. During my college years one art tutor, pleaded politely for me to attend West Surrey Art College. I vented my energy back into art, opening my first gallery on a shoestring in 1987. I started creating prints and gimmicks like resin masking the surface and texture of artwork. I fight to be traditional, just me pouring my thoughts onto canvas using simple materials.
