Vikki Rutter is a largely self-taught, Cheshire based artist and a career as a television camera operator, has given her a solid foundation in visual creativity.
While studying A Level art, Vikki was introduced to Walter Awlson’s works and his style influences her techniques and subject matter. Walter is known for expressing a quiet repose of stillness in his work; it is this ‘stillness’ which has inspired Vikki’s natural style. Honing her style through regular informal art classes and peer evaluation.
Vikki will be exhibiting an ecclectic mix of genres from landscape painting, life drawing sketches to lomography photos.
