Launched in 2016 by Black Mango Art, The Visual Art Open is a not-for-profit competition that offers both emerging and established artists the platform to advance their creative career, grow their presence in the industry and develop their passion for the arts.
The competition welcomes applications from creatives based across the globe, with entries open across six different categories – painting and mixed media, photography, digital, sculpture, drawing, and young artist.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, the competition continues to grow and has welcomed over 6,000 applications to date. The team is excited for what the future holds and is looking forward to showcasing the incredible breadth of work produced by this year’s high caliber group of finalists in mid-November 2020
The official prize-giving ceremony – which will see the overall winner of the competition awarded a prize package worth over £8,000 and the winner of each category awarded a cash prize of £250
